Y does everybody want to play all against each other! Grrr-Arr…They are soooooooooooo different, &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& on TV different nights of week, different kinds of excitements! Rowdy(Ghostadventures, it’s an adventure) & Relaxed (Ghost Hunters, hunting is hush & not plush! Shhhh)…I love both, & learn from each! We as paranormal researcher’s need to come together, not apart! Play off each other not against one another, stick together so2speak…Don’t have to agree with each other all the time, debating helps U learn & bring out what’s about! It comes down to all preference…as some people like blondes, loud & provocative, maybe flamboyant & possibly dramatic to bring points across with interest, entertainment in many ways & more scripted on a real life channel…some prefer brunettes, suttle & nonchalant, until provoking is called for/usually settling for hard evidence & skeptics @ same time settling for a Science fiction channel when educating! Catch my drift, it’s all ridiculous to put this to the test! We all need to open as many minds as possible, not figure who’s more popular! Top notch is top notch, neither needs the same slot, we all have basic beliefs of the same, we all are the minority! We need to transform to MAJORITY, strength in numbers, u know!

Roberto… thanks for the comments… However, I’m referring to “frequency spectrum” using radio frequency. Not, just the audio spectrum. We are inundated with RF, all of which could lead to a false positive on a digital recording.

Now these days u can use spectrum softwares for free like (spectrum view) real time just u need your laptop whith mic or one external and done u have other spectrum analizer.

I had to start a new technique for such things. If I got a person telling me a story about how they left the bathroom and were headed to their bedroom and saw a ghost in front of the linen closet, I listen and note it and then later on in the conversation I say casually, “so when you came out the bedroom and were heading to the bathroom and saw the ghost, what was it wearing?” Someone who actually had this occur will correct my scenario and someone who doesn’t have a visual in their head of an actual incident is likely to skim right over my mistake and answer about the ghost. Just one of many ways to see if it happened or something vague happened that even they don’t recall or that they fabricated.

In response to the original posting. Here goes, I am actually happy that these shows have hit the mainstream scene as Paranormal is the new in. I will be ten times as happy once these shows have hit they’re limit mainly due to fads, and following. When there are no more shows, plenty of teams that were paranormal groups will vanish leaving the stomping grounds to those who were with it from the beginning. I believe there are plenty of True Investigators out there with real intent to help families and such. At the same time there are many more teams out there because Zak is doing it, or Steve is able to explain what an EVP is yet again lol. In lieu of both teams I do know the facts of one side and that is Ghost Hunters, the company that runs them is the same company that runs Fact or Faked, and Haunted Collector. This company is one that sets up scenarios to receive results. They use tech-tronics to produce boot sounds and Voice to EMF generators that create the EVP. To the ear you hear nothing but on recording EMF when used as a sound carrier will show as background noise but will be a voice in the recording. This is to allow the showing of the EVP that shows what looks like nothing happened with an embedded voice. I know this because that same company had contacted me once about some of the stuff I build and wanting to buy it as replica equipment for the show. They told me it didn’t even need to work but just have the appearance of working. Also that company contacted Arwin in Malaysia for results for what show??? Destination Truth. In the end yes these shows are fake, yes after all is said and done they are just actors. I tip my hat to them though as if it weren’t these people, inventors such as Bill Chappell, and Gary Gaulka wouldn’t exist. Recorders such as the RT EVP wouldn’t have been made. So in the end these shows while awesome to watch and show off to your girlfriend all your collected gadgets and how they are used on tv, are just that television.
