Every time we pack up out equipment on go out to and investigation we are searching for some sort of proof of paranormal activity. Whether it be to debunk other experiences, have our own personal experience, or capture potential evidence we are all on a similier mission. Now one thing that I find extremely interesting is that there is so much more to ghost and paranormal than simple people from the past that have died and for some reason have not “moved on”. Theories as to who they are, why theyre still here and other ones are not or if they are we can not communicate, are they intelligent or residual, are they creatures that are a product of good and evil, do they have meaning in our personal lives…..the list is endless.

I find that for me the things that I seem to find to be more interesting in are the theories about spirit guides, shadow figures, and evil spirits. While I completely believe that many ghost are related to the past I do not see why there are not paranormal creatures that are part of the present. Things that are interesting to me are that shadow figures seem to be reported by multiple people in the same situations. It is most often reported that these figures are seen while one is going to bed or right after a loved one has passed us. And it is often said that even though this creature did not look or act like anyone specific that they knew who it was and were not scared. That is not hard for me to believe when we hardly understand human emotion and how we can literally be empathetic with another human without any words being spoken. I know that with my wife I can pretty much know how she feels without even talking to her, I can tell if she is in the house based on feeling. These are things that show how we as humans are not close to reaching our potential as humans. We have forms of communications that most have not yet discovered. What is stopping a spirit guide from contacting us through our thoughts in form of our sub concoius mind? Humans are very complex and our minds are undiscovered.

What about evil spirits? Are evil spirits demons sent to earth by the devil him self? Are they dead people from the past with a sick sense of humor? Is the battle of good and evil of the paranormal world taking place right here on earth and we just don’t know it? Why do people suffer from true huantings? Are these people being punished or victims of evil. There are to many cases where people claim to have an evil spirit haunting they’re house. Is this due to the fact that people automatically think that paranormal events are evil and scary? Honestly how often do spirits actually hurt people or do nasty things to them?

Is the paranormal world a separate world that co exist with our present? Are “residual haunts” simply spirits that don’t care or realize that we are here? What are these people doing and why are they still “here”. Why can we not easily communicate with them? If we could communicate would it be accepted by the rest of the world or passed off as fake? Is it right that we are trying to contact the other side? If  paranormal activity was proven what would that do to the scientific and religious communities?

That is a load of questions that I think about often and deeply, ask your self these questions.
